This page is devoted to the hobby, and passion for Collodion Photography. Specifically, one Mr. George Berkhofer, whom with friend Jack Hurlock, are two of the oldest working Photographers in this medium, known. Although Mr. Hurlock's major interest has shifted to daguerreotypes, he still maintains an avid interest in wet collodion photography. Mr. Berkhofer's devotion and field experience in the art has remained the same, from early 1955 to the present day.

Collodion Manual Published!
Yes that's right! After far too many years in the making, the Berkhofer Wet Plate Manual is here, and it is spectacular. First thanks go to Mr. William Dunniway. Bill acted as editor and really saw this project the last mile to the finish line. We couldn't be happier with the end result. The book looks great and should prove to be a valuable resource.
